Timing Chains

The timing chain is one of the most important components of your vehicle’s engine.

It controls the timing of the internal combustion engine by synchronising the camshaft and crankshaft as they rotate. Although fairly durable, over time, your timing chain can stretch or wear requiring eventual replacement – and if it isn’t replaced in a timely manner, it can cause very serious and very costly damage to your engine. That’s why you should always get your timing chain replaced at the manufacturer’s recommended intervals.
